Experiencing Tension during COVID-19 and Acknowledging My Privilege

I was nervous at the start of this project to search for inequities in my life and community. I personally feel that I am very fortunate to still be receiving a stipend, have a roof over my head, and food to eat. I know this is not the case for many, and I am very thankful to have that security during these times. That being said, I know that graduate students had less access to resources before COVID and continue to do so. To me, this picture illustrates the tension between my privilege and resources I have missed by not being able to access campus. I am lucky to have a desktop computer, but I also am very stiff and sore from sitting in this chair all day.
