In an initial attempt to loosen some of the stay at home restrictions, one of the mandates that the Governor allowed after protests in the state was to allow golf courses to open. As many golf clubs in the area are already member exclusive, requiring dues or fees to use them, only those who can afford to pay these fees can use this space. The day this new opening rule took effect, the workers at a golf course near where I live began working to maintain the courses to open again and people were out playing that morning. However, other outdoor spaces that are accessible to the public, such as local parks, remained closed.
